Per old Indian mythology the Kumhar are offspring of Lord Braham (Prajapati). This is why in some places in India the Kumhar use Pajapati / Prajapat as a surname according to the Indian caste system. Ancient Indian culture cannot be understood without acknowledging Kumhar.
