The Chak live in the Blue Mountains of Rakhine State in Myanmar. They are isolated from outside influence, inhabiting small villages in a tropical forest. The Chak are not officially recognized by the Myanmar government. Several small Buddhist ethnic groups live near the temple ruins of Mrauk-U in Rakhine State, Myanmar.
The Chak have a history of isolation. They might be fearful of outsiders coming, bringing words and concepts that are difficult to understand.
Perhaps workers trained in telling stories from scripture will be led to the Chak tribe. Gospel recordings are available in the Chak language.
"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!" Psalm 103:1
Pray that the Lord will raise up many from this people group who will worship Him with their whole hearts.
We have no indication there are any followers of Jesus among the Chak people. Pray for this to change soon. Pray for the Lord to thrust out his ambassadors to disciple the Chak people in the ways of Christ. Pray the Chak tribe would see the need to prepare their children for a changing world. Pray for good schools to become available.
