Introduction / History

The Dalang people group are a very small tribe living in three main villages in the remote Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan.

They farm sorghum, corn and beans and raise cattle, sheep and goats.


What Are Their Beliefs?

They are Muslims who also practice tribal religion.


What Are Their Needs?

The Dalang people have no schools or health care facilities or electricity.
