The Warnang live in small villages, where family ties and community cooperation are central to daily life. Their homes, constructed from locally available materials, reflect their practical approach to living in a rugged environment.

What Are Their Beliefs?

The Warnang people practice a blend of traditional animist beliefs and Islam. While many have embraced Islam, traditional practices remain deeply ingrained in their spiritual life. They believe in the presence of spirits in the natural world and hold rituals to honor these spirits, particularly during key agricultural and life events. This syncretic approach to religion provides a framework for understanding their environment and social relationships.
