Introduction

Consisting of several non-Arab Muslim tribes originating in the Nubia region, the Nubians are now primarily located around northern Africa. They grow a variety of foods, including watermelons, beans, peas and wheat. The Nubians' stable education system promotes a higher literacy rate than their rural Egyptian neighbors. Many of their religious ceremonies include singing, dancing and beating drums. One of the Nubian subgroups is the Fedicca Mohas.

Ministry Obstacles

Though the Nubians were mostly Christians in the sixth century, they are now almost entirely Muslims. Today, most of them have limited access to Christian resources and few mission agencies are active among them.

Prayer Focus

Pray for many of the Fedicca-Mohas Nubians to put all their faith in Jesus Christ, leading to a movement to Christ.
Ask the Lord to bless them with an abundant wheat harvest, serving as a testament to His goodness and power.
Pray for the believers among the Nubians to remain steadfast in their faith and always prepare to share their beliefs with others.
Providing Bibles translated into their heart languages could be instrumental in helping the Nubians hear the Word of God. Additionally, radio broadcasts, a commonly used medium in their community, could be an effective means of reaching them. Pray that these resources may be used to further the spread of the gospel.
