Throughout Latin America in early colonial days, it was common for Spanish men to marry indigenous women. Their children were called mestizos, and culturally they could be European, Indigenous, or somewhere in between. Other Europeans remained separate from the indigenous peoples. Today they might identify with Uruguay, Spain, or the country where they now reside. White Uruguayans live primarily in Uruguay, but also in Argentina, Mexico, the United States, or Spain. A small number live in Canada.
White Uruguayans prefer Canadian cities. They are well-educated; some come to attend universities. They blend in well with other Latinos, especially those from South America.
White Ecuadorians in Canada are usually Roman Catholic, but they also have an Evangelical minority.
They need revival fire to bless their churches, families, and neighborhoods.
Pray for a Holy Spirit-led revival to bless White Ecuadorians in Canada leading them to a rich spiritual life in Christ.
Pray for them to become a powerful force for discipleship among those without the gospel throughout Latin America.
Pray for the Lord to bless them materially and spiritually as they obey Christ.
