Regional / National Representative

Position Summary:

Officially represent Joshua Project in a particular country or region (North Africa-Middle East, West Africa, South-Central-East Africa, South Asia, Central Asia, SE Asia, East Asia, Europe, or Latin America). Network with churches and ministries to advocate for unreached peoples, mobilize work among the unreached, share Joshua Project tools and communications in contextualized ways, and update people group information from local and national sources.

While many regions and countries are open to new representatives, Joshua Project currently has particular needs in the following areas. Candidates with experience or connections in these regions are especially encouraged to apply.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Actively network and collaborate with missions information researchers in your selected area.
  • Actively network with key mission organizations, mission networks, and church planting networks to actively assist them with people group information and develop relational proximity to receive regular updates on gospel progress among people groups.
  • Represent Joshua Project and unreached people groups in key conferences and meetings in your area of focus.
  • Train local church and mission leaders how to use Joshua Project information to inform prioritized next steps in missions.
  • Report monthly to Joshua Project supervisor on activities and progress toward goals.
  • Raise financial support or have other means to support your work. Joshua Project, at times, may assist with travel and ministry expenses. This work can be done part-time or in conjunction with other ministry roles.
