Colorado Springs, CO – September 9, 2024 – Joshua Project is compelled to address the recent article published by Dainik Bhaskar on August 25, 2024 which contained factual inaccuracies concerning our organization's operations and affiliations.
We categorically state:
- We present religious statistics for every country, including India, as part of our mission to provide comprehensive global religious data.
- We have no financial or other backing by political entities, nor any connections whatsoever with the CIA, the Vatican, George Soros, nor similar entities.
- We maintain a strict policy of non-involvement in any national politics.
- We do not have any agents operating in India. Our organization consists of a very small staff with a limited budget funded solely by modest personal donations.
- We do not provide any financial assistance to individuals or organizations in India.
- We do not condone paid religious conversions, viewing such practices as disingenuous.
- Our sincere desire is to see the blessing of Christ extended to every people group.
We urge Dainik Bhaskar to issue a correction to their article, reflecting these clarifications. We remain committed to our mission of providing accurate religious information, while upholding the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
