Introduction

The Bhuinhar reside in 96 districts of India and Bangladesh, the largest populations being in districts Ghazipur, Ballia, Azamgar - all in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Almost all speak Hindi, but six additional languages are spoken as well. They are almost entirely Hindu, in both India and Bangladesh.

Ministry Obstacles

The pantheistic worldview is not easy to overcome. Pray for a growing awareness of a personal God, one who knows each person and cares for each person.

Outreach Ideas

Evangelists and church planting teams are needed. Pray for workers.

Pray for the Followers of Christ

There are some Christian believers among the Bhuinhar of India. Pray they will fellowship together, encouraging each other in the faith, bearing one another's burdens, growing in love and knowledge.

Pray for the Entire People Group

Pray for the material well-being of the Bhuinwar, that they will be accepted by the castes and tribes around them, and be able to properly support their families.
