Introduction / History

The Tapshin people are a minority group in Bauchi State. They speak a language called "Sur."


Where are they Located?

They are located in the area of Tafawa Balewa in Bauchi State in Nigeria.


What are Their Lives Like?

The people are known to be very hospitable.


What are Their Beliefs?

Many are Christian. Most are Catholic or Othodox. Most also have African traditional religioous beliefs.


What are Their Needs?

They need a Bible in the Tapshin language and materials which the elderly can read and understand easily.


Prayer Points

* That God would touch them in a special way.
* That the Bible be translated in their language.
* For discipleship that addresses beliefs which are not biblical.
