Introduction / History

The Abu-Junuk people group live in a subdistrict by the same name in the northwest section of the State of South Kordofan, Sudan.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Farming sorghum and a few other crops, they raise goats, sheep, and cattle. Remarkably, they have three primary schools and two secondary schools.

What Are Their Beliefs?

The Abu-Junuk people are Sunni Muslim.

What Are Their Needs?

In their drought ridden environment, they collect rainwater and draw water from a few wells. There is still a lack of safe drinking water.

Prayer Points

Pray for the Holy Spirit to move mightily among this people group.
Pray for loving workers to be thrust out among them.
Pray there will soon come a day when these Muslims will disciple others in the ways of Christ.
