The Eastern Minyag people are defined by their Tibetan-based language, which is one of the Qiangic languages. They also go by Minyag or Minyak. They live in China’s Sichuan Province, especially in the Lixian, Maoxian and Wnchuan regions.
The part of Sichuan Province that the Eastern Minyag call home is noted for it’s beauty. This language group has their own handicraft styles, music and dance.
This group is entirely Tibetan Buddhist. This form of Buddhism incorporates ancient shamanistic practices.
These people need to realize that they cannot please God without being empowered by the Holy Spirit. They cannot have the Holy Spirit without Jesus Christ.
Pray for a movement of Jesus to heal and strengthen Eastern Minyag communities.
Pray for the Eastern Minyag people to understand and embrace that Jesus wants to bless their families and neighborhoods.
Pray for Holy Spirit anointed believers from the Eastern Minyag people to change their society from within.
Pray for a movement in which the Holy Spirit leads and empowers disciples to make more disciples.
