Introduction / History

The Kutchhi Bhanusali live in Gujarat and speak Kachchi and read and write in Gujarati. They are vegetarians who eat wheat, while the Sindhi Bhanusali are not vegetarians.

The Kutchhi Bhanusali are endogamous, meaning that they prefer to marry within their community or clan. Marriage is done through the parents. There are marriage rituals. On the death of the father, sons and daughters inherit the property. The dead are cremated except for young children. Hinduism is their religion.

Agriculture along with business and laboring are their main occupations. They are not too well educated, so the gospel will need to be given in oral form too. They use modern medicines and family planning.

Prayer Points

* Pray that gospel recordings will lead the Bhanusali to Jesus Christ.
* Pray that God will give them dreams and visions leading them to salvation.
