Introduction / History

The Logol people live in the Nuba Mountains. They have their own language, Logol, I the Kordofanian language group.

What Are Their Lives Like?

The Logol people raise livestock and grow grain like the peoples around them.

What Are Their Beliefs?

The Logol people are mostly Muslim, though there is a lot of traditional African religion blended in. Not all of them are Muslims. Their faith is in the power of the spirit world.

What Are Their Needs?

They must deal with the consequences of the current civil war in Sudan like all the other peoples. Such a situation brings about internal “war” when they deal with deal and destruction.

Prayer Points

Pray for the Lord to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the Logol people and they will respond with gratitude and faith.
Pray for the Lord to send dreams and visions to Logol leaders so they will open the door for Jesus to enter the hearts of their people.
Pray for the Lord to send out Holy Spirit anointed workers to the Logol in Sudan.
Pray for a Disciple Making Movement among the Logol people.
