Introduction / History

Shabar tribes are very less in population which are found in South Eastern Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. There is a severe lack of education in this tribe. There is a lot of intoxication in the society and their children do not go to school. They worship nature. They are completely dependent on the forest for livelihood even today. Being financially weak, they works as daily wages workers.
