Introduction / History

For centuries the Ghosi people have been selling milk. This brings more status to those in Hindu communities than it does for those who are Muslim. Most Muslims among them are in India, but others live in Pakistan.

What Are Their Lives Like?

The Ghosi people sell milk. They make their way to nearby homes and sell milk to neighbors. Some take a long trek to town as for their milk business.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Formerly thought to have been Hindu, they are now Muslim. There are tracts, a fully translated Bible, and many other resources for hearing of the one who loves them and died and rose again for them. But they do not hear. There are spiritual obstacles that keep them away from the only savior.

What Are Their Needs?

Muslim Ghosi people need the chance to hear and respond to the one who came to pay for their sins and offer life to the full.

Prayer Points

Pray that prayer warriors will be raised up who will faithfully intercede for Ghosi hearts to be softened to Jesus Christ.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to give Ghosi leaders hearts that are willing to respond to the loving call of the only savior.
Pray that Christ's followers will be called to tell the story about Jesus to Ghosi communities in a culturally relevant way, simple and appealing.
