Introduction / History

The Malai Arayan or Mala Arayan live in Kerala in India. Mala Arayan means king of the forest. They are mainly Hindus who speak Malayam and are a scheduled tribe. There are more of them who work in government service than in any other scheduled tribe.

The Malai Arayan work in agriculture and are hunters. They have birth and marriage rituals and they bury the dead.

Some of the Malai Arayan are Christians and they marry in the church that the bridegroom attends.

Prayer Points

* Pray that any evangelical Malai Arayan Christians will lead the others to Jesus Christ.
* Pray that the internet and gospel materials will lead them to the source of salvation.
