Introduction / History

The Karadia Rajput live in Gujarat. They speak, read and write in Gujarati. They are mostly vegetarians. Hinduism is their religion.

The Karadia have male inheritance. Polygamy is allowed but does not happen often. The divorced and bereaved can marry again. There are birth and marriage rituals. The dead are cremated.

The Karadia work in agriculture. Some are landlords and some are labourers. Most of them own land. Only some of them are educated, so the gospel will need to be given in oral form too. They use modern medicines, family planning and modern agriculture.

Prayer Points

* Pray that Indian Christians will lead them to Jesus Christ.
* Pray that gospel recordings will lead them to salvation.
