The Obanliku people are an ethnic group residing in the Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. They have a rich and diverse culture that is deeply intertwined with their religious beliefs.

The people that inhabit obanliku local government area are predominantly farmers. Agriculture which accounts for about 80 percent of production is the mainstay of the economy of the local government area. The area is blessed with abundant fertile land which is suitable for cultivation of the following cash and crops. Apple, banana, cashew, cassava, castor, citrus orchard, cocoa, coffee, cotton, grape, groundnut, honey breeding, kola nut, mango, palm tree, pineapple, plantation, rice, soya beams, tea, wheat and yams.
The Obanliku people primarily practice traditional African religions, which are characterized by a belief in a supreme being, ancestral worship, and the veneration of natural forces. Their religious practices are deeply rooted in their daily lives and play a significant role in shaping their cultural identity.
