Throughout Latin America in early colonial days, it was common for Spanish men to marry indigenous women. Their children were called mestizos, and culturally they could be European, Indigenous, or somewhere in between. Other Europeans remained separate from the indigenous peoples. Today they might identify with Colombia, Spain, or the country where they now reside. White Colombians live not only in Colombia, but Venezuela, Canada, or Denmark. There is only a small number in Denmark.
In general, Whites in Colombia have higher-paying jobs and more status than the indigenous peoples. This isn t always the case; some have low-paying jobs, or they are unemployed. Whites are more likely to have educational opportunities than their indigenous counterparts.
White Colombians in Denmark are usually Roman Catholic, but they also have a strong Evangelical minority, especially in Colombia.
They need revival fire to bless their churches, families, and neighborhoods.
Pray for a Holy Spirit-led revival to bless White Colombians in Denmark, leading them to a richer spiritual life in Christ.
Pray for them to become a powerful force for discipleship among those without the gospel throughout Latin America.
Pray for the Lord to bless them materially and spiritually as they obey Christ.
