Antiti

The Antiti live in 10 large villages in the Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan. They speak Sudanese Arabic. They grow sorghum, sesame, corn, and peanuts. They also raise cattle, sheep, and goats for meat and milk. The Antiti are Muslim. They have two primary schools but no secondary schools.

Ministry Obstacles

If you had been taught by those who believe that the Koran is 100 percent accurate and the Bible is corrupted, would you be likely to read the Bible? Believing in the gospel of Jesus Christ is difficult when they have been taught to believe that the Koran is foolproof and accurate.

Pray that many from this people group will make the Lord their only God, and thank Him for His miracles.

Prayer Focus

Pray for the Holy Spirit to instill in the Antiti the desire to seek the truth of the one true Savior, Jesus Christ, regardless of the cost. Pray for compassionate and dedicated workers to serve the Antiti. Pray for Antiti leaders to have dreams of the risen Christ and to share those dreams with others. Pray that soon Antitis will find their way to the cross and spread Christ's fame to other Muslims throughout Sudan.
