Rajput unspecified (Muslim traditions) in Pakistan

The name Rajput is derived from the Sanskrit word rajputra, meaning son of a ruler. The Rajputra constitute a class of nobility. The Rajput rose to political importance in the ninth and tenth centuries. In India, the Rajput have been a ruling class owning vast tracts of land.

Trusting Christ fully requires an act of humility, and the Rajput have been a proud people.

Outreach Ideas
Much sustained, focused prayer is needed for the Rajput.

Pray for the followers of Christ
Pray for new followers of Christ among the Rajput to be effective in blessing and healing their families through sharing and discussing the Word of God, that a movement to Jesus may spread rapidly among Rajput families and communities.

Pray for the entire people group
Pray for Rajput families to be drawn to Jesus (whom Muslims call Isa al-Masih), and to the Bible to find out more about this man. Pray that the Lord will start a movement of Rajput families experiencing God’s blessing.
