Comorian in France
kuh-MOHR-ee-un

Comorians are among many other African migrants who live in France. Thousands have risked their lives to migrate to France and when they get there they live in poverty.

Ministry Obstacles
The vast majority of Comorians are Sunni Muslims though some became Christians during the latter half of the 1990s. A few have converted to Hinduism. France is a very secular environment; Comorian immigrants are either Muslim or forsaking religion altogether. The French dislike for the Comorians has caused them not to trust the French, whom they associate with Christianity.

Outreach Ideas
Comorians have a desperate need to learn trades that are useful in an urban country. Believers with the right skills can help them learn marketable skills for France's urban setting. Faithful volunteers who can assist Comorians in areas of medicine, education and job training must rise up for the sake of the gospel.

Scripture Focus
"Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways!"  Psalm 128:1

Scripture Prayer
Pray that many from this people group will have the joy that comes from fearing and following the Lord.

Prayer Focus
Pray for the few Comorian believers to be salt and light to their neighbors. Pray that the Lord would equip Christ followers in France to share the gospel with Comorian immigrants. Pray for a movement to Christ among the Comorians in France. Pray that they would experience freedom from physical and spiritual suffering through Jesus Christ.
