The Makhmi people live in the northern part of Jammu and Kashmir. Some live on the Indian side of the border, but most are on Pakistan's side of the line. This is a very difficult part of the world where armies of both countries are usually on the brink of war.
Ministry Obstacles
The Makhmi people live in the high mountains of Kashmir where outside ideas are seldom brought in and almost never accepted. It will take a work of the Holy Spirit to penetrate their hearts for Christ.
Outreach Ideas
When things are peaceful, Kashmir is a popular tourist destination for South Asians who want to escape the oppressive heat. Believers can come to this area taking global recordings and the JESUS Film if there is peace.
