Amma Kodaga in India

Many also gather forest products for additional income. Their communities are tightly-knit, with a strong emphasis on family and communal support. The Amma Kodaga uphold and enjoy their own cultural life, particularly on special occasions, such as traditional festivals, music, and dance. The Amma Kodaga community places a high value on family unity, hospitality, and reverence for elders, ensuring the transmission of religious and cultural traditions to future generations.
Ministry Obstacles
There is likely no single Christ follower among the Amma Kodagas, so they will need to hear the gospel from outsiders. In most traditional cultures, outsiders are not trusted until they demonstrate their trustworthiness for an extended period of time.
