Mahamid in Chad
The Mahamids are a Shuwa Arab people group who live in Chad. In recent years, there has been a continuing conflict between farmers and herdsmen, cattle herdsmen and camel herdsmen, and, to a lesser degree, between Christians and Muslims. These struggles have collectively caused a lack of stability. Most of the conflict is actually centered on economic issues and water rights rather than religious issues.
Ministry Obstacles
Anyone reaching out to share the truth with this people group should prepare to live for years in a spiritually dry land of violence and danger. This same group of people sharing the truth needs God's partnership and guidance as they share the gospel, aligning with his purposes.

Pray for vibrant disciples who will make disciples to emerge among them.
May they show the world that when the Holy Spirit acts, communities are transformed in a wonderful way.
Pray for workers to interact and minister to the Mahamid with the gospel.
