Dalu in India

The Dalu are landless farmers. About 90 percent of these peaceful people do not own the land they farm. Most cannot read. Alcohol is forbidden in their Islamic religion, but they enjoy drinking a homemade fermented rice beverage.

Ministry Obstacles
The Dalu live in a land where the gospel is unknown. Because literacy levels are so low, gospel materials must be presented orally and/or visually.

Scripture Focus
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."  Proverbs 3:5-6

Scripture Prayer
Make this your prayer for today’s people group.

Prayer Focus
Pray for believers to share the JESUS Film in Bengali with the Dalu. Pray for the message of the gospel to penetrate their hearts. Pray for workers who will go to the Dalu with the good news of Jesus Christ.
