Introduction

Most of the Dharhi people are Muslim, but there is a small number that are Hindu, mostly in India's state of Uttar Pradesh, though some might also be in Nepal. Today some are still singers like their ancestors, though they commonly augment their incomes as day laborers.

Ministry Obstacles

Hinduism gives people the impression that they can chose their own god to worship, and that there are no absolutes in the spiritual world. They do not understand that they are accountable to the One True God, the maker of heaven and earth.

Outreach Ideas

Believers can offer them Global recordings materials in Hindi or Bhojpuri and point the way to radio broadcasts and other Christian materials in their languages that they can use on their cell phones.

Pray for the Followers of Christ

There are no known followers of Christ among the Hindu Dharhi people. Pray for a massive movement to Christ among them in the 2020s.

Pray for the Entire People Group

Pray for a chain reaction of Dharhi families reaching families that results in thousands of new believers who share their faith with others. Pray that churches and believers will bless their entire people group in such a way that God's love will change the Dharhi people like yeast changes dough.
